Service and Disclaimer

  • Local Maids does NOT guarantee the removal of stains such as, rust, mildew or others caused by hard water build-up or lack of maintenance.

  • All areas are expected to be free of clutter.

  • Clients are required to inform Local Maids if items or surfaces need special care.

  • We are NOT responsible for damage due to fault and/or improper installation of any item. However, we will do our best to fix/replace damaged items  within reason.

  • We are NOT responsible for any harm caused to animals or people due to our cleaning supplies, we can use  client provided supplies if needed.

  • If special care while cleaning is required it is the Clients responsibility to inform Local Maids.

  • All dogs or other pets should be put away during cleanings, we are NOT responsible for unattended animals.

  • All surfaces (i.e. marble, granite, hardwood floors, etc.) are assumed sealed and ready to clean without causing harm.
  • Furniture on wood floors is assumed to have proper protection.

  • All important items should be put away during cleanings to prevent any possible accidents.

  • All Clients have 24 hours to contact Local Maids with any issues or complaints, after 24 hours all clients accept that we are not liable.

  • We do not offer refunds but do guarantee that we are willing to perform spot cleaning or corrective cleaning as needed. 

  • We cannot guarantee cleanings to be finished by a certain time. It depends on the scope of the work.

  •  If clients need the cleaners to be finished by a specific time it is the clients responsibility to inform the company before cleaning begins.

  • All utilities (water, electric, ac/heat) need to be on and working to perform work. A cancellation fee of $50 will be charged, if team arrives and can’t perform work.

Bio-hazard cleanup services

  • We only clean windows and other surfaces that can be reached with a 3 step ladder.

  • For safety, no other jobs should be done while we are cleaning.

  • The presence of other workers or excess of people in the house might cause the estimate to be inaccurate.

  • Having other work done in a house while our teams are working might affect the cost and time needed to complete the cleaning to your satisfaction.

  • No heavy furniture or appliances will be moved, unless added as a line item at additional expense.

  • Prices are subject to change if surfaces are excessively dirty and cause cleaners to spend an excess amount of time on areas. Cleaners will not clean areas filled with clutter or areas covered in hazardous material which can include but not limited to human and animal waste.

  • If you request the inside of your refrigerator to be cleaned you are expected to clean it out before the cleaning starts. The cleaners are not able to touch food due to risk of cross contamination.

To ensure we can deliver exceptional service, we kindly ask that if your home has any unpleasant odor due to utilities being off, pets or is dealing with pests (etc.), please refrain from booking our cleaning services. This not only keeps our team safe and healthy but also guarantees the level of service we’re proud to provide. We are not a bio-hazard cleaning service.

In the unfortunate event that our cleaning team arrives at your home and cannot proceed due to these reasons, please be aware that a $50 cancellation fee will be applied. We take this step reluctantly, as we truly value our relationship with our customers. Our ultimate goal is to continue offering consistent and high-quality service to each and every one of you.
